The “Alive” project was born from the collaboration between Lion Ahead and Kyrtz. Our studios are located quite close and we used to visit each other to share our stuff. Our musical styles were very different so we decided to work together and try to find a new sound. A few months ago, we started recording some tracks and we chose four of them. The result is a mixture between 60's touches and 80's aesthetics. We met our singer after listening to a mobile recording with the voice of a girl singing acapella. Although the sound quality was pretty bad, we were surprised by the energy of the vocals. Once we had our songs selected we were lucky to get a release on Irradiant Hologram. After this collaborative work I'll keep producing new tracks under the name Kyrtz along with some other akas.
